So...i haven't written a journal in a loooooong time. They really aren't my thing i guess so I want to write one that will be something that I don't have to change. Hopefully it doesn't point out to the date at all. Mostly I want to get a schedule going for myself. Ok, so since I am going away to montreal on the 30th and I will be somewhat incommunicato while I am over there I am going to be uploading every single piece of art I have on my computer. some things need to be touched up a bit. but for the most part these are all just pencil sketches or paint by numbers on a quick sketch, and on the occasion I will have some WIP. So I got a bunch of Art books for X-mas. Mastering Digital Painting techniques, Digital Painting Bible etc etc. All great stuff. First thing i did was set up a new work area in the basement. Hopefully now I will get more work, I want to try and get a full ILLUSTRATION done per month and work up to an ILLUSTRATION per week. When i say ILLUSTRATION i mean a scene with characters and a narrative. I will probably try and get a bunch of character drawings done and scanned along with some buildings and maybe colour them. Just concepts though, nothing huge. Not refined or pretty. Linework with colours underneath. Thats my New Years Resoultion for 20
